ITCS-Asia URL WIZARD

URL WIZARD SERVICE

One of the most powerful scripts that should be in every webmaster’s toolbox. So simple and fast to set-up, you’ll hardly believe it. The  “ITCS-Asia URL WIZARD” is by far one of the best marketing tools on the internet today. The App admin area is easy to understand, no fancy
graphics or animations. For the most settings context related help is available.

The basic principle is to create a "ROTATOR - Portal" and place several different URLs (also known as links or website page addresses) into the portal. Then every time someone visits the portal page the URLs will be rotated and the visitor will be transparently redirected to the next URL in the list. You then only have to promote one link (the portal), rather than many!

If you are trying to promote several websites, web pages, affiliate programs or products, this tool will save you a huge amount of time and effort, as well as save you money on advertising costs. Use it to test your landing pages so you can tweak your advertising campaigns to increase your advertising ROI. The script is flexible enough that it has many applications wherever web traffic distribution is needed.

URL WIZARD PORTAL LINKS

Perfect for advertising or affiliate networks who accept just one URL!
With URL WIZARD you can split your campaign to several destinations.

SPITTED TO YOU CHOSEN DESTINATION URLs

USE OF URL WIZARD SERVICES

Avoid dead-links – Once your ebook is published you can’t edit any of the embedded links in it – unless you link to a Portal instead of using direct links! Then you can simply change the destination at any time! Now if the affiliate product or link you are promoting expires you can simply switch the destination with a new one. Future proof your links.

Hiding affiliate links – Reduces your risk of affiliate link hijacking. Instead of linking directly to your affiliate link, you can set up a Portal/Destination for it. Now nobody will be able to tell that it’s an affiliate link until after they’ve already clicked on it. This means they will be cookied and you will receive all the commissions you deserve.

Co-Op Campaigns – Build a Portal and create a destination for each of your members. Now just send traffic to the portal to automatically distribute it amongst your downline.
Improves your branding – all Portal links appear to be on www.yourdomain.com

Many other uses – The script can be used anytime you need to rotate traffic amongst a set of links. How about rotating your favorite daily links from a single bookmark on your browser toolbar. How about providing a single link to rotate file mirrors. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination and needs.

SOME TOP FEATURES

* Master Plan Only Feature
  • Multi-Language Support - ITCS-Asia URL Wizard now supports multiple languages. The basic language is English but on request we will add your desire language for a small fee of just $5.
  • Traffic Diversion Options - Depending on the chosen service plan some traffic will be to divert from a Member’s Portal to a URL of the portal administrator’s choosing.
  • Revisit Behavior / Normal Rotation - The repeat visitor is treated no differently to a new visitor, normal rotation occurs and the repeated hit is counted. The visitor will be redirected to the next due Destination which may be a new Destination or the same one they originally visited. The method can be activated for each portal.
  • * Revisit Behavior / Reuse Previous Destination URL - The repeat visitor is redirected to the original Destination they first visited and the repeated hit is not counted. This method is useful because a returning visitor may be expecting and wanting to see the original site they were first redirected to. This method can be activated for each portal.
  • * Daily Max Hits - This optional feature allows you to specify how many maximum hits a destination URL can receive on each day of the week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc.). If the count is reached, the destination will be taken out of rotation for the remainder of that day and will be reset & re-enabled on the following day.
  • Counts Hits to each URL - See the number of hits that have passed to your Portals and Destination URLs. Useful for measuring your campaign performance. Can also record hits from your own IP addresses separately (to a field called “Ignored Hits”) so you can test your Portals as much as you like without adding to the normal hit counts.
  • * Weighted distribution of traffic to your links - You decide how much traffic each Destination should receive – give a Destination a higher weight to have it used more often than the rest. The rotation method used in the script is not “chance/random” based! We use a superior method of rotation so that your Destination receive exactly the ratio/amount of traffic you specify.
  • * Referrer Cloaking, Portal URLs are based on yourdomain.com
So you promote your own domain instead of a 3rd party service’s domain. Improves your own branding and credibility with your audience.
  • Doesn’t rely on frames. - Many major websites are already using frame blocker/breaker technology. Competitor rotator scripts that rely on frames will become obsolete. The ITCS URL WIZARD does not rely on frames. Instead, it uses standard HTTP headers which will work for all browsers on all operating systems and will not and can not be blocked by any destination sites. Frames pose a security risk that’s why there is a growing trend to blocking them on major websites, redirection headers pose no risk.
  • Bulk Additions - A great time-saving feature that allows you to add numerous URLs to the App at once! Simply fill out the text area with 1 URL per line (or CSV data) or upload a CSV file.
  • Start/Expiration Times - This is a very powerful feature! Set an active time period for any destination URL. They won’t get used unless the current time falls in between the start and expire time. Perfect to setup marketing campaigns in advance.
  • Max Usage Count - Set a maximum number of hits a particular destination may receive before it is switched off.
  • Email Alerts - Optional email alerts can be sent when your destination’s max hits or activation start/end times have been reached.
  • Query Strings - Now you can append query strings (i.e. http://www.yourdomain.com/url/wizard/portal_name?query_string and http://www.yourdomain.com/url/wizard/portal_name/query_string/) to Portal URLs and they will be passed to the Destination URLs. This can be a very useful feature.

PORTAL SETTINGS

Portal Name
The name for the Portal. The name will be used in the generated Portal's URL so you may want to choose a useful keyword here.

Portal Option: Revisit Behavior
The rotation behavior if the Portal is revisited by a web visitor.
Normal Rotation: The repeat visitor is treated no differently to a new visitor, normal rotation occurs and the repeated hit is counted. The visitor will be redirected to the next due Destination which may be a new Destination or the same one they originally visited.
Reuse Previous Destination URL: The repeat visitor is redirected to the original Destination they first visited and the repeated hit is not counted. This method is useful because a returning visitor may be expecting and wanting to see the original site they were first redirected to.

Portal Description
An optional description for the Portal. You can choose to type in a short description here to remind you of the Portal's purpose.

Portal Option: Default URL
An optional default URL to use if no Destinations in the Portal are available for use. This happens when all the Destinations in the Portal are deleted, are disabled, have expired, have reached their Max Hit Counts, etc. When this happens all the traffic that is sent to the Portal will be redirected to this Default URL (until you add new Destinations or re-enable the existing ones in the Portal).

Portal Option: Referrer Cloaking Mode
Do you want to cloak the referrer? Cloaking the referrer means that the destination sites won't be able to tell where you are obtaining your traffic from and the keywords used. The destination site will see the referrer as being the "Referrer Cloaking URL" or it will be blank (depends on the visitor's browser).
Default: The portal will use whatever cloaking setting you have in the configuration file.
Enabled: Override the configuration setting and force cloaking to be turned ON for this portal.
Disabled: Override the configuration setting and force cloaking to be turned OFF for this portal.

Portal Option: Referrer Cloaking URL
This is the full URL of where the referrer cloaking script (redir.php) has been copied to.
You can not simply make up any old URL, this needs to be the valid location of a redir.php file. You can rename redir.php to whatever you want. You can copy the redir.php and put it on any domain you own. This is how you can "spoof" the referrer. The destination site will see this redir.php URL as the referrer.  Leave this field blank to use the default value found in the configuration file. The default is to use the redir.php file that is inside this script's folder.
This setting is only used if the Referrer Cloaking Mode is set to "Default (and enabled)" or "Enabled".

Example. If you have copied the redir.php to yourotherdomain.com then you would enter:
http://www.yourotherdomain.com/redir.php

DESTINATION SETTINGS

Portal Name
Choose the Portal which this Destination should be rotated from.
Displayed next to the Portal's name is how many Destinations are already in it, and how many more Destinations are allowed to be added to it.

Destination Name
This is an optional field to allow you to associate and display a more meaningful name for this URL.

Destination URL
The actual website URL address that this Destination should redirect to.
Remember that each Portal is limited in how many Destinations it may contain. Any Destinations that you attempt to add over this limit will be ignored. If your URLs are not already prefixed with 'https://' (or other protocol such as ftp://) they will be automatically prefixed with http:// for you.
If convenient you may supply both the url and the weight on the same line. Seperate the values by a comma. For example, to rotate Bing (weight 1), Google (weight 2), and Yahoo (weight 3):
http://www.bing.com/,1
http://www.google.com/,2
http://www.yahoo.com/,3

Destination Weight
Enter a number to specify how many times this Destination should be used per "cycle" of the Portal it belongs to.
Naturally, the greater the number the more it will be used.
Default is 1

Destination Status
This field allows you to immediately disable this Destination from being used in the rotation. You can re-enable it again in the future.

Destination Description
An optional description for the Destination. You can choose to type in a short description here to remind you of the Destinations's purpose.

Destination Max Hits
Enter a number to specify how many times this Destination should be used in total.
When this number is reached the Destination will not be used any more unless you increase this value, or you reset the Destination's Hit Count. An empty value or a value of 0 means this Destination can receive an unlimited number of hits.

Destination Max Daily Hits
This optional feature allows you to restrict the number of hits a destination url receives on any given day of the week.
For example, setting the max hits for Sunday to 5 would mean that each Sunday the destination can receive up to 5 hits. The hit count is automatically reset each day.

Destination Active Period Start
You can optionally specify a date that must be reached before this Destination starts being used.
The time zone used is that of the server.

Destination Active Period End
You can optionally specify a date that when reached will cause this Destination to stop being used.
The time zone used is that of the server.

Destination Email Address
This is an optional field, and is only used if any of the "Email on Active Period Started", "Email on Active Period Ended", or "Email on Max Hits Reached" options are enabled.
If any of those options are enabled, an email will be sent to this email address when the appropriate conditions are met. If any of those options are enabled, but this email field is left blank, then the email address on the portal owner's profile will be used instead.  You can provide multiple email addresses in this field by separating them with a comma.

Email on Active Period Started
If enabled, then when this destination's active period begins, an email will be sent to the destination's email address.
If the destination's email field is left blank, then the email address on the portal owner's profile will be used instead.

Email on Active Period Ended
If enabled, then when this destination's active period ends, an email will be sent to the destination's email address.
If the destination's email field is left blank, then the email address on the portal owner's profile will be used instead.

Email on Max Hits Reached
If enabled, then when this destination's max hit count is reached, an email will be sent to the destination's email address. If the destination's email field is left blank, then the email address on the portal owner's profile will be used instead.
